Construction:
Metal Framing: Single frame of HonWin 50mm (0.55mm) C-Studs at 600mm centres. HonWin 50mm U-Channel for head/base track. For deflection details (if required) up to 35mm use Deep Flange head track, above 35mm use specialist head track to suit. Flat Plate to all horizontal joints and deflection head detail (if required).
Board Lining: 1 layer(s) each side of 12.5mm Fireshield, SE for Skimming, TE for tape and joint.
Cavity insulation: 25mm Crown Wool (19.5kg/m3).
Screws: 25mm HonWin Drywall Screws.
Sealant: Sealant (or Intumescent mastic where appropriate).
Finishing: Taped seamless jointing using HonWin Joint Cement Easy Sand
Primer/sealer: Wallboard Primer for taped and jointed finish (two coats for vapour resistance).
Accessories: HonWin corner beads and edge beads.
Other requirements: System to be installed in accordance with HonWin Drywall recommendations and technical literature. In areas of high humidity, moisture resistant plasterboard is to be used. (refer to architects drawings).
